This Comfort Flame Cabinet Corner Mantel is designed to be stained to match existing decor. Below is listed the fireplace that this mantel is designed for. These fireplaces do require venting.

Question

How long is either side of the cabinet as they fit against the wall??!

One wall I wish to place this at is 33 inches. The other wall is considerably longer!
Is the left side, as you face the unit longer than 33 inches??!
Or from the outer most left end, to the back where the cabinet ends in the corner where the 2 sides meet....What is their length?

The length of the corner mantel from the front of left end to the back end of the corner section is 39" long.

It could be used with a vent free fireplace insert. This unit fits a 32" insert. You would just follow instructions for mounting a gas insert in the manual. Be sure to leave room to install the gas lines and have a shutoff valve where you can get to it. You would then also check with your insert for clearance requirements and follow those instructions.
