This unit does come with a 1/2 NPT pipe plug for the outlet port.

A ½” female pipe thread air coupler is needed for the front of this air outlet kit. It is possible to get a 1/2" to 1/4" pipe bushing to reduce the size down allowing you to use a 1/4" NPT chuck. The pipe bushing and 1/4" NPT chuck can be found at local hardware stores as Northern Tool does not sell these accessories.

You can buy adaptor fittings at your local hardware store. I use brass fittings, 1/2" not male to 1/4" not female. I think I paid a buck or two per fitting.
