This item supplies 1500 running watts and 1800 surge watts. If the well pump requires 1800 watts this unit would not run it. Some items have a start-up surge higher than constant running watts. This unit can only supply the 1800 watts briefly for surge or start-up purposes. The 1500 constant running watts would be less than the required 1800 running watts to run the water well pump.

Mounting the 60 Watt panels that came with the unit would be difficult, but possible. The manufacturer recommends mounting a panel up to 240 watts on the roof.

Hi - I just purchased this unit. Can you tell me if the battery (which is lead acid) is replaceable?

Also, when needed, would the battery have to be lead acid or could I move to a lithium?

The Solar Generator has a lead acid AGM battery and can be replaced with another lead acid AGM battery. You cannot use a lithium battery with this unit.

This Solar Mobility Generator can charge through solar (18 hrs to fully charge) or household/ac charging (12 hrs to fully charge) and can run and charge at same time.
