Does switch maintain pressure?

If using 2 cylinders, can I apply pressure in cylinder 1, then switch to cylinder 2 and apply pressure, without losing the pressure in cylinder 1?

The Metro Machine Selector Valve will hold cylinder in position until that circuit is again selected and control valve positioned for flow movement.

The top two holes are the pressure ports. The four holes on the sides connect to the cylinders.

The two holes on the left go forward for like a bucket, the two holes in the middle are supply inlet, and the two in the rear go back to like a backhoe. Top side is "in" and the bottom is return.
