Yes, you can adjust the size to fit (pin adjust). As for the face screen, this is the sturdiest part of the hard hat and is by itself worth as much as the entire package. I would think the cap will need replacement before the face screen.

The approximate dimensions for the face shield are: 14" from left to right, and 7" from the top to the bottom.
