I don't think you can wear them down that much but I see no problem if that happens.

Staff Answer
Polyurethane foam is two times stronger than rubber, so it is extremely difficult to wear through the surface. The solid tire is most dense at the outer surface, but is strong throughout the tire. Therefore, even if the outer surface is worn through, the tire will still perform exceptionally well.

Question

Does this tire/rim combo come with an offset hub?

I'm shopping for a flat-free tire for my pull type mower. The tire size, rim, and everything seems to match but the hub is offset. One side is roughly 5/8" and the other is roughly 2"; can I put the flat-free tire on my rim or do you offer offset hubs in this tire/rim size?

No, this Marathon flat free tire does not come with an offset hub and the tire can not be removed.

However, if your axle provides enough space, you can always add spacers to accommodate a centered hub like this tire and wheel has.

This tire is centered but you will have to decide if that will make it get in the way of anything. My wheel casters and it turns fine.

The wheel will not fit the red wagon #143322. The wagon requires a wheel with a 5/8" bore and this wheel has a 3/4" bore. Call Northern Tool + Equipment parts department for the correct replacement wheel.

Adding these bearings will not change the hub width. These bearings will modify the bore size of the wheel.
