Yes you can use longer 2x4s to change the size by a couple of feet. As for the siding, just measure after you assemble the frame as all siding comes in 4x8 sheets

Yes, it is possible to change the dimensions of the final product by using longer lumber. Also multiple kits can be combined to make a larger structure. 2 kits =8' x 14' 3 kits = 10' x 22'. Part of what you will get with the kit is a materials list to help you determine the materials that you need to purchase.

Yes, you can use longer lumber, you will just purchase additional 4' x 8' sheets and will need to cut them in order to evenly piece them...

No, it has no door kit. You will have to cut one out, frame with 2x4's and supply your own door hardware.

can different size lumber be used ?

I was wondering if a person wanting to build a shed useing 2 x 6 lumber for for sturdiness and stability can still use this fast frameing kit or are they specifically designed for 2 x 4"s only ?

You would order 1 kit for the 7' x 8' building, 2 kits for the 8' x 14', and 3 kits for the 10' x 22' building.

The Fast Framer Universal Storage Shed Framing kit does not need a floor kit. If you decide to build a floor, the dimension will vary, depending on how may kits you purchase. The floor plans do not have specifics as to how to make a floor.

No, it does not. You could do without a floor but you need to decide if you need one depending on what it is being stored. I used 2x4 hangers to secure the 2x4 floor joists, and laid osb down for the floor. I would have preferred 2x6s but there wasn't enough clearance without raising the whole shed.

The metal angles that the kit consists of are in sufficient quantity to allow for the standard 16" on center between studs.

The distance between studs will depend on what size shed being built. When building the 7 x 8 ft(1 kit), the studs will be 32 inches on center. When building the 8 x 14ft(2 kits) and the 10 x 22ft(3 kits), the studs will be 24 inches on center.

The Fast Framer Universal Storage Shed does not come with the door hinges. The manufacture does not let us give the exact amount of 2x4's, but it is around 43.

Two kits would have to be ordered. It will give you a 8' x 14' building. One kit will only give you a 7' x 8' building.
