Yes. I pull it with a 24 hp lawn tractor. I don't think it would take that big of a tractor to pull it though. That is just what I have.

Yes. Pulling the handle towards you will lower the wheels, forcing the spoons off the ground.

You can back up with Aerator in down position. Aerate in straight lines whenever possible and avoid sharp turns.
