One set of Duracell batteries lasted me 3 months at about 3-6 hrs a week.

My radio will last the entire summer mowing season @ 3 hours per use. So 30 plus hours of use before batteries need replaced.

I pressurewash for a living so I use mine 5-7 hours a day avg. about 3 days a week during summer, in 2011, I used 4 sets of batteries from March to Nov. however 1 set was old (From gps). Also used on 2, 8 hour bush hogging jobs, made job go by much quicker (and was able to hear my wife when I got home). Absolutely would recommend these to anyone.
Use good batteries like Energizer or Duricell for better life.

I don't know for sure, but I have at least 20 - 30 hours on mine so far and I am still on the fist set of batteries.
