Yes, it has an MP3 cord, but really does not have a place to store it. I store mine inside the muff when not hooked to the ipod.

Per the manufacturer these have never been tested to see how many consecutive hours they would last on one set of batteries.

My radio will last the entire summer mowing season @ 3 hours per use. So 30 plus hours of use before batteries need replaced.

I pressurewash for a living so I use mine 5-7 hours a day avg. about 3 days a week during summer, in 2011, I used 4 sets of batteries from March to Nov. however 1 set was old (From gps). Also used on 2, 8 hour bush hogging jobs, made job go by much quicker (and was able to hear my wife when I got home). Absolutely would recommend these to anyone.
Use good batteries like Energizer or Duricell for better life.

I don't know for sure, but I have at least 20 - 30 hours on mine so far and I am still on the fist set of batteries.

This 3M Digital work tunes AM/FM radio is weather resistant, and is not waterproof.

NO, the battery compartment only has a snap shut opening on it like kids battery powered toys and there is NO seal,so water would for sure penetrate the battery holder. As for the tuner I don't think it is waterproof either.I would not wear mine in the rain.

Sweat resistant but not waterproof. Controls and battery compartment are not sealed.

I wasn't sure what was meant by scanner compatible?

It does have a stereo input jack with a patch cord to use MP3's, CD players or scanners with the headphones. It will not play Pandora or other digital providers through internet WIFI.

no this has no wifi only plug in so you could play pandora on your phone and plug your phone into the worktunes
