To operate this heater requires the following input; 115V, 60Hz, 3.5a. This equates to approximately 400 watts.

No thermostat on this small unit. I believe you have to get at least the 125K size to get the thermostat. You can check the website for positive info

Yes, per owners manual:
Recommended for use with No.1-K kerosene fuel. Factory
tested for use with No.2-K kerosene, No.1 or No.2 Diesel,
No.1 or No.2 fuel oil or JP8 Jet A fuel and these fuels may
be used as well. Never use gasoline, oil drained from crank
cases, naphtha, paint thinners, alcohol or any other highly
flammable fuels.

Yes it will run on diesel, but it will 'blacken' the front of the heater and doesn't burn as clean as kerosene.

My son uses one of my heaters in his 2 gar insulated garage. Burns about a 1/2 gallon per hour, (8 hr run time total). Fairly quiet and minimal odor. Suggest you have door open and unit pointed outside for the first couple of minutes run time.

This heater does not have a thermostat. It will put off fumes and should be used in a well ventilated area.
