This Shop-Vac vacuum is only available with the 6 foot power cord that comes on it. You would need to use an extension cord for any additional length.

This vacuum is not to be used with anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches or hot ashes. Check out item #'s 18034 and 173050 for vacuum capable of handling ash.
