does this mean it makes 1 1/2" stub or it is for 1 1/2" logs.

I am making a log bed and am doing about 3" logs, I need to leave a 1 1/2" stub to join the pieces. Is this what I am looking for, or is it for 1 1/2" logs.

This Lumberjack beginners kit will make a 1-1/2 inch stub using the tenon cutter, and a 1-1/2 inch hole using the forstner bit.
