This unit is capable of generating a maximum of 1350 watts (maximum continuous) to power AC products. For instance, a lamp with a 40-watt bulb can be operated up to 9 hours when this unit is fully charged. Most 12-volt DC auto and marine accessories are generally rated according to how many amps they draw from the battery. For example, a small 12-volt fluorescent light draws less than 0.7
amps. When connected to XPower 1500’s DC Power Socket, this light could operate for about 60 hours. This unit is designed to put out 12 amps from it's DC power socket.

To charge with AC would take up to 15 hours, DC would take up to 8 hours. A 30 watt solar panel would take 24-30 hours to charge with bright sunshine. There is a high current terminals in the back of the unit so you can hook up bank of batteries. You would need to supply the wiring to connect them.
Item number 349906 90 amp battery can be used or #349903 110 amp battery could be used with this system. Costs are listed on the website for these.

The Xantres Powerpack cannot be used for power while being charged.
These charging options are possible with XPower 1500:
• Charging with the fully automatic “plug-in-and-forget” AC Charger.
• Charging from your vehicle as you drive with the DC Charging Cable.
• Charging from a generator equipped with a 12-volt battery charging outlet.
• Charging from a solar panel.

This would depend on the total amperage to wattage ratio. For example the fewer watts an AC product uses, or the fewer amps a DC accessory draws, the longer the portable power pack would operate before it needs to be recharged.
