Would this engine match up electrically as a GXV 670 motor? Also does it have a oil cooler?

These two engines would have a different electrical setup. The GXV660 has an electrical system that has a ground to kill electric system. The GXV670 had a ground to run electrical system. The GXV660 can be used as a replacement but, you would also need to order from our parts department the key switch part #GN3104E463B.INDAK. Also, the exhaust on your engine will not work. You would need to fabricate your own exhaust.

The parts department can be contacted at 1.800.222.5381, option #3.

The engine does not have a separate oil cooler. It has built in aluminum fins that act as an oil cooler.

A muffler is not included, and we do not offer one for the vertical shaft engines.

This Honda engine is electric start only. There is not a key switch or recoil start.
