It will handle the 2 pound wire as is. There is an adapter that can be purchased separately so it can accept the larger spools. This is available from the manufacturer.

I believe there is an adapter for the 10lb spools. If you don't have that, you can only use up to the 2lb spools.

A spool gun for the Hobart Handler 125 MIG-Ready Welder cannot be used as this welder is to small for that option.

No. The 125 is not able to be used with a spool gun. All other Handlers are spool gun compatible

What does constant voltage mean?

The item description says "constant voltage". Does this mean the gun always has current running to it as long as the machine is on and the trigger is only to feed wire?
