Question

Does it come wired for 110 Volts? Or does it require 230?

I need a replacement motor for a Sears 1970's contractor style table saw. The saw runs on regular current. Will this work?

This motor can be wired for 115 volts regular household current. If it would work otherwise would depend on the specifications required for a motor to operate your table saw.

It is a dual-voltage motor, meaning it can be wired to run on either 115VAC or 208-230VAC. There are diagrams on the motor ID plate that show which leads to wire together in what order to work on one voltage or the other. I believe they come pre-wired for a 208-230V service, and is very simple to switch it over to run on a 115V service. Hope this helps!
