only in the CB band, channels 1-40 in the HF 27 mhz range. NOT with GRMS or FRS radios which are in the UHF 462-467 mhz range.

This unit can be powered with the included 12 V DC adapter, or 9 'AA' alkaline batteries or rechargeable NiCad batteries. We do not offer the rechargeable batteries, but we do have the charger. The item # is MID18390C. Please call us @ 1-800-221-0516 for price and availability of the charger.
