The Northern Industrial Air Punch and Flange Tool is designed to be used with up to 14 gauge material. There are no other adjustments for use with an other gauge metal.

Question

Will it definitely punch a hole in 2 mm sheet metal (mild steel)?

There seems to be a slight discrepancy between your steel gauge sizing system and the metric system. Therefore, before I place the order, I would like to verify that when you say #14 gauge mild steel sheet it does mean that it will easily pierce upto 2mm mild steel sheet metal. Thanks.

14 gauge is about 1.9 mm thick so it would not work with 2 mm sheet metal.
