I have a well with 2.5 gpm or greater. should this preasure washer work or do I need to increase the pressure?

This pressure washer can be attached to a well with a pump that produces 3 gpm since the pressure washer pump on this unit requires an inlet flow that's 20% more than the 2.5 gpm output. This pressure washer is designed for a pressurized water source such as a city water faucet which is approximately 40 psi. However, the water source pressure must not exceed 115 psi (8 bar).

This Powerhorse Gas-Powered Pressure Washer does require positive pressure. As long as you can fill a 5 gallon in 100 seconds your well will provide enough water for this pressure washer. Accurate time keeping is essential.

Your volume of water is more critical than your water pressure. You need to be able to fill a 5 gallon bucket in about 90 seconds with the hose you will be feeding your power washer with. I ran a dedicated 3/4" line and sillcock in my garage in order to supply this machine. Seems to word great.

Yes. Pump oil is more like a hydraulic oil and goes in the pump section of the unit. This unit comes with pump oil already installed, but not engine oil, you have to buy that separately.

Powerhorse Gas-Powered Pressure Washers will require two different types of oil. The pump requires a 30 weight non-detergent oil. The engine will require a 10W-30 oil for general use, or a 5W-30 for use in cold weather(0 degrees F or lower). Northern does offer pump oil, and engine oil would need to be purchased locally.

All of the Powerhorse Pressure Washers will have an unloader valve built into the pump that will cycle water back to the inlet to maintain pressure and keep backpressure from building up.

I have seen models that have a built in detergent container but this one does not seem to have one.

The unit comes with a pickup tube to inject detergent into the water stream. You just put it into the container of cleaner.

This pressure washer can be used with detergent or cleaner as it features a downstream chemical injector. Since there is no on-board soap container on this pressure washer, a clear hose is included with the unit that is placed into your detergent bucket or container. The soap is automatically drawn up through this tube when the detergent/soap nozzle is attached to the pressure washer gun/lance.

It's just a pipe, go back to the store and see if they will bend a new handle for you, or get an electrician to bend some conduit for you.
