A fine particle type of sand would be the best type of sand to use with this kit.

I had to use a fine sand. I ran my sand through screen to filter out large particles. It was the only way I could continously work without the unit getting clogged.

Question

it does not give any info. on this sandblasting kit

I asume that its a syphon feed if it is could it be adapted to be fed by a pressure feed sandblaster That way there would be no clogs in the sand pick up hose.

This unit is a siphon feed that hooks up to your pressure washer to move sand at 350kg (kilograms) per hour.

The sandblasting kit will work with a 1700 psi washer. It will not have as much cleaning power as a 3500 psi pressure washer, but it will work.

I have a power washer rated at 2600psi and 2.3gpm. Will this unit effectively remove paint and rust from a vehicle using glass bead abrasive?

This sandblast kit has the nipple or female side of the 22mm thread together connector found with pressure washer accessories so it will fit.
