The flat surface cleaner is more effective without wheels. The brushes that the cleaner head rides on make the washer easy to maneuver and help scrub the surface to be cleaned. Wheels would only be helpful for transporting the unit.

I don't know why you would want to. It is so light and when in use it hovers across the ground. But if you really wanted to then I imagine you can.

No, This surface cleaner has hard bristle brushes for wheels. The pressure from your pressure washer makes it almost glide, but giving you some scrubbing power as well.

I think the gpm doesn't matter. The higher the psi, the faster the sprayer underneath will spin.

Can you run cleaner thru this machine. Also, how often must you replace the brushes?

Staff Answer
Cleaner can't technically be run through this machine because running cleaner directly through the pressure washer's pump will cause damage to the pump. The life of the brushes depends on the frequency of use and various surfaces it's used on. Replace the brushes when they appear to be worn down or lose their effectiveness.

answer 2
Forget the brushes and add caster wheels to this unit. If you plan on running chemicals or soaps thru this you better be prepared to reclaim all your waste water. There is a zero tolerance on chemicals going into a storm drain.

Question

Are there different size brushes to chose from?

Different size brushes would provide some height options so you can adjust how close the tips are to the surface being cleaned. This would allow you to use less pressure on some surfaces than others, without adjusting your machine. Thanks.

forget the brush idea and get some caster wheels for this surface cleaner. Do not worry about the distance of the tips from the surface or adjusting your pressure. If you are cleaning concrete you need all the pressure your machine will put out.

The surface cleaner will work with a pressure washer producing up to 8 gpm. Your 3.5 gpm pressure washer will work great with the surface cleaner. You will not need to change nozzles, simply attach the surface cleaner to your pressure washer.
