The Plastic Surface Blasting Media is used for wood, aluminum, brass and fiberglass. The ground corncob is more for the delicate surface.

Plastic blast media for cleaning aluminum

Is the Blast media OK for cleaning the gasket surface of Aluminum heads without damaging the head?

The Plastic Surface Blasting Media will be safe for use with aluminum heads. It will remove buildup without damaging the aluminum itself.
