In speaking with the manufacturer there is not set answer for this. Concrete is fairly porous and should be easy to cut into. You should be able to get by with the 50 pound siphon blaster item #1554. You will then just have to experiment with the PSI to see what works best for your application.

You will need in excess of 90 to 120 lb of pressure, but the CFM's are very important and I would recommend over 6 cfm. The cfm is the amount of air that your compressor will supply for an extended use. You could have a compressor that will put out 200 lbs of pressure, but if it is unable to maintain the set pressure during the job you will not be able to get done

The blaster comes with both a 1/8" and a 3/32". The most versatile size is the 1/8". They can be used with any type media. It is suggested you start at a distance from the logs and then work your way closer until you get the performance that works best.

Question

Can I mix different blasting compounds and run them through this unit

I want to use this unit to restore a 69 Land Cruiser, remove several layers of paint, rust. I want to be able to spike a softer media with sand to lessen my chances of body panel warp-age. Also how is walnut media for removing paint and rust, and is it reusable?

You can mix different media compound in this unit. You cannot use sand. Sand just turns to powder. Walnut media is very gentle and safe media to use. It would just take it a little longer than the more aggressive media.
With this unit your walnut shell will be falling to the ground after it hits the metal. It could be reused if you want to sweep it up and strain out the foreign materials out of it.

The ALC Soda Blast Retro Fit kit will convert any sand blaster with 3/8" or 1/2" plumbing into a soda blaster. This can be used with the ALC Model 40002 pressure blaster as this unit has 1/2" plumbing.
