The Aircat model #1100-K has a working torque range of 200-900 ft. lbs. with a max of 1100 ft. lbs. This should be enough to remove 18 wheeler lug nuts.

answer 2
Its possible but if it does, the lug nuts should be tighter. I have a hard time getting some of them off with a 1 inch drive IR gun.

answer 4
All the truck shops I've ever worked in use a 1" impact dedicated for tire work. I won't say this gun couldn't, but it would not be my first choice for something as critical as lug nut safety.

I have never tried, but based on my usage I would say yes. It rips lugs torqued to well over 180 ft lbs with little strain.

answer 6
it will but you should probably get the 3/4" drive due to socket size. You will have to have use adapters allot for the 3/4 drive sockets.

The AirCat wrench is made in Taiwan and under warranty for 2 yrs. If you would need repairs the have service centers throughout the US and they may be reached via their site www.aircat.com. Northern also offers a full replacement plan on the impact wrench that would extended the warranty and included accidental damage.
