Questions & Answers for Cluster Hook (RTJ) - Model# 45515-10

How many hooks are normally used per job?

I'm unfamiliar with these hooks; I can see how they are used but I'm not sure how many would normally be used to tie down a single vehicle? I've always used multiple load chains with load binders and/or ratcheting straps to do the job.

The number of hooks used really depends on the application. The hooks have enough capacity so that you could get by using only one for a lot applications. However, having more than one anchor point is typically safer and distributes the load more evenly.
