I have one like this and you could hook up straps to it on the frame but I have a Harley Ultra Classic that weighs over 900 lbs and I have had it all the way up on the lift and cleaned it and worked on it jarring it all around and it does not budge. I am not afraid to push it all over my shop on the lift.

answer 2
Yes, it does have several. I use the loops between the casters as well as the loops at each end of the lift pads.

Question

Can you store a motorcycle on this jack (e.g. winter storage)? Is there a locking feature that allows the jack to be in the "raised" position?

I want to raise my motorcycle off the ground for winter storage and also be able to roll it next to my garage wall so it's out of the way. Is there some sort of pin or locking device that allows the motorcycle to sit on the jack in a raised position for possibly 4 to 5 months without putting all the strain on the hydraulics? Thanks for any information you have for me.

This jack has safety arms that fall into a slot and hold the weight without stressing the hydraulics. As long as those arms are locked in place it is okay to have it raised with a load on it for months at a time.

I would not roll mine around with my Harley sitting on it. Yes it is possible to leave your bike on the satnd for several months but extreme caution for accidental falling if knocked over. I would not leave mine unattended, no way!

Question

Can a plywood plate be attached to the deck assembly?

I am looking for a lift that can raise and lower a wheel chair 12 to 24 inches. A ramp is fine, but the versatility would be much more beneficial to use for lifting other items.

I noticed the height appears to be a problem for some, is the collapsed height actually 5 1/8 inches?
