When in ideal sun, a 140 watt crystalline panel will produce about 9 Ah per hour. Although many variables apply, most places usually get about 5-6 hours of good sun a day. A 63Ah battery would take about 7 hours of ideal sun to charge. The maximum output of of the unit is 1400 watts(12 amps) continuously. Amp hours are measured on a 20 hour rate. A 100Ah battery would run an item drawing 5 amps for 20 hours. As the draw gets larger, the battery will produce less than the rated capacity. If drawing 10 amps, the battery will produce 93Ah, and if drawing 100 amps, the battery will produce approximately 60Ah.
