Pressure washers including this one are designed to spray water or water with soap. Roundup should be used in approved sprayers designed to spray insecticides, weed killer like roundup and fertilizer. Pressure washers should not be used in these applications. Northern does carry sprayers designed for these uses. See below.

Bleach can be mixed with water safely but not when used with this pressure washer. The soap tank and the wand and nozzles have seals which could be damaged by using bleach.Use of bleach is not recommended.

We recommend using a water-based concrete or masonry cleanser. We do sell concrete wash from Monster Labs that would work well. See link below for more information.

Both of these pressure washers will use a direct drive pump. Direct drive simply means the pump is connected directly to the motor, and doesn't use any pulleys or belts. An axial pump, also in both of these, uses a wobble plate. A wobble plate has pistons pressing down on the plate in sequence, forcing it to rotate around its center. A non-axial pump functions more like a vehicles engine, using pistons with connecting rods to turn a crankshaft.
