What happens to the lead cables from the turbine ,inside the pole when the turbine spins around ? I'm afraid of them twisting and breaking off !

The cables aren't connected to the part of the turbine that spins and will remain stationary.

Wind turbines use a device that is called a slip ring which is the same as what is used in a motor to transfer power. Brushes ride on copper rings to transfer the power. It can spin in circles for years with no problems.

the pivot is so tight that the turbine will be useless to me with the highly variable direction winds I have

The Sunforce Marine Wind Turbine is rated up to 157 miles per hour. If the turbine is installed according to owners manual, these are not issues that will occur.
