Question

What is the diameter of the vertical center shaft?

I have several lawn tractor rims the have an integral welded pipe (which "sleeves" over the tractor axle shafts). I am curious if this changer will be compatible with this type of rim.

There are two center pivot shafts on this item. One measures 3/4" at the bottom and 1/2" at the top. The other shaft measures 1" at the bottom and 5/8" at the top.

Removing a tire can be done in one minute or less for operators familiar with the machine. The manufacturer, Tire Service Equipment(TSI), has a video on their website demonstrating how to use the Multi-Tire Changer.

The tire changer has 3 jaws to secure 4" to 16.5" wheels. The changer will handle hub type or bearing type wheels from a 1/2 inch and up. There is also a base available.
