What are the actual outside dimensions?

It is listed as a 24" brake but the dimensions list it as 23" wide. I need to know the actual outside dimensions to know if it will fit in my press.

What is the dimensions (thickness and height) of the forming die?

I already know the width and capacities from the specifications list on your site. However, it does not mention the forming die thickness and height.

This NorthStar Press Brake will come with two arbor plates, not the four that are shown in the manual. Replacement plates are available.

Question

Northern sells two press brakes, a 24" and a 29". Other than width, are there any differences between the two? Is the 29" more heavy duty?

I have a 30 ton press. I have no need to bend wide materials, but would like the ability to bend thicker materials(Like 1/2") Is the narrower press just as heavy duty as the wider press in terms of strength if both were used on the same press?

This NorthStar 20 ton shop press is not as heavy duty as our 40 ton unit, the 40 ton unit can bend a 1/2 inch piece of steel 90 degrees that is 4 inches wide, where the 20 ton press can bend a piece only 2 inches wide.

What is the inside diameter of the tube on the top of the tool, that I assume accepts the punch of the shop press?

Or, in other words, what diameter punch should be in the shop press when using the NorthStar Press Brake?
