Not an impact driver. When tightening a screw, when you set the torque, it will tap the screw down a tiny bit tighter once the clutch starts to slip. It slips as a very noticeable pulse as it goes 'click-click-click'

No, this Klutch cordless screwdriver only accepts the quick change bits, however, you can purchase a quick change adapter that will allow you to use standard bits.

I just tried mine after digging up an older bit that would only be useful in a magnetic extention. The recessed ball in the receptor is placed in the corner to grip the bits with the 6 corner notches, so I thought that it would. It does - but the collar doesn't come back all of the way. Once it does seat back by its own spring force, the (non-quick change) bit can still be pulled out but you have to pull pretty hard. I would be afraid of doing this as a practice because I think the bit holder might jam or wear or worse.
