The Northern Industrial Bench Grinder can be used with a buffing wheel, as long as the diameter(6 inch) and arbor(1/2 inch) match with the grinder itself. Northern Tool does offer 6 inch benchtop buffers as well. See links below for more information.

The widest wheel that can be safely used on the bench grinder is a 7/8" thick wheel. The shaft would not be long enough for any wider wheel.
