This jumbo wagon may be pulled on a beach. The ease at which it can be pulled will depend on the weight of the cargo in the wagon and the sand conditions. The lighter the load and the tighter the sand is packed will enhance the overall maneuverability on a beach.

I think it would work well for this. If you are concerned about the metal tanks maybe scratching the paint off of the cart, you could always cut a piece of fiber board to fit inside the bottom of the cart.

Can the sides be taken off or do they just fold down?

Yes, they come off easily. However, you can't keep the sides up with the front and back down. In order to move lumber, I had to build and inset with 2 x 4s and run rails on the outside so I could put in some conduit posts to hold the material I was moving. Mounted the poles on the side with the conduit brackets to hold them in place.

answer 5
The sides can be folded down, or removed. There are cotter pins that hold the sides in place. Undo the top latches, and remove the pins to remove the sides.

answer 6
The sides can be removed easily. There are two pins on each side panel that simply pull out and the panels can be removed. However only one panel can be removed at a time. Example: You can take the back panel off to carry long items but the front panel is necessary to support the two side panels. So its one panel off or all panels off.

The sides are totally flexible...fold them down, take them off or rig them to help carry bulky light stuff...I have all sides off and will haul a 700 pound generator very soon.

The sides are attached with simple hair pin clips, so they are easily removed if you want to just use it as a flat bed.

answer 11
ALL FOUR sides can be removed. Allow the sides to be dropped down to the sides, then remove the Cotter Pins with a pair of pliers.
I would also suggest you put the cotter pins right back in the holes they were removed from - ON THE SIDES THEMSELVES (not the cart) so you don't lose them - - just a suggestion.

While the Northern Industrial Jumbo Wagon is not designed specifically to be pulled by a garden tractor, other Northern Tool customers have said they have done with no problems. You would need to figure out a way to hitch the two together.

I don't see why not. With a little modification to the handle this would be functional. Although i bet you could find the same cart already modified to tow.

I use a small shackle to attach the handle to my John Deere S2554 garden tractor hitch and it pulls just fine. Even with the wagon loaded full of firewood the handle hasn't bent, so I'd definitely say 'yes', it can be towed no problem.

depends on how soft the sand is how much weight and how much air you have in the tires. Just like four wheeling on the beach sometimes you can and sometimes you need a tow

answer 3
I have a few slightly sandy areas near my garden & haul things across this sand. (The sand is only a couple of inches deep.) With 100-150 lbs of fertilizer it pulls OK but if another 150 lbs were added then it would be a struggle to pull for one person.
Only a guess but I'd say this cart wasn't intended for deep sand hauling. It would be tippy on uneven, deep sand beaches.
