Question

Is this winch able to slide sideways on the two mounting brackets?

If mounted to either square or round tubing, is this winch allowed to move laterally? It's not clear if the two mounting brackets are intended to tightly clamp down onto the tubing, or if there is clearance enough to allow sideways movement of the winch, which is what I'm after.
