Question

Mounting

I am looking for a winch that I can mount on the floor or bulkhead of my 5th wheel toy hauler. The purpose is to electrically winch in my Harley-Davidson, with side car, into the garage portion of my toy hauler. Can this winch or another type of winch be adaptable for this purpose? I would perfer a synthetic rope with around 2500 lb capacity and 12 volt or 110 volts would suffice.

The winch can be bolted directly to a metal floor, and If it's bolted to a wooden floor it has to have a steel plate underneath it. Do not mount it base upward, or put the winch mounting hardware in a direct tension condition. In all installations, the unit must be mounted so that the rope feeds through the hawse or roller fairlead on the front of the winch and does not rub across housings.
