No, this Wel-Bilt portable parts washer is not approved to pump any flammable liquids.

No, the instructions state clearly that this washer is suitable only for water based cleaning solutions. No solvent based cleaners are to be used with it.

Basically, any water based cleaning solution will work. The Northern catalog recommends using the Monster Parts Wash Concentrate. I recommend using any concentrate full strength if you have any appreciable amount of grease/grime you are trying to remove. I also leave the parts soaking in the solution overnight if the crud is heavy.
