Staff Answer
The way to determine the chain that will fit your existing sprocket is to measure the distance between the teeth. They are typically made to fit #35 chain or #40/41chain.

#35 chain has a distance of 3/8" between rivets and the #40 and #41 have a distance of 1/2" between rivets.

The difference between #40 and #41 is the width of the chain. #40 has a 5/16" roller width and #41 has a 1/4" roller width.

Typically #40 and #41 can be used interchangeably.

This clutch is made to work with a #40 or #41 chain.

The Clutch will give u a chain size and it might be carved on your drive sprocket that is on the wheel. Or take the sprocket to the store and test fit a chain

The more teeth on a clutch, the higher the top speed, with slightly less acceleration (ideal for smooth surfaces). The less amount of teeth will give greater acceleration and higher torque with slightly less top speed (ideal for rough terrain).

The smaller the number of teeth at the motor the more power you will get at the rear axle and the more teeth at the motor the more speed you will get.
