This fan needs to be hardwired, and is meant for permanent installation.

The CFM is determined by the static pressure. At 0 static pressure with 1600 RPM is would be 360 CFM. At 1300 RPM is would be 300 CFM. The higher the static pressure the less CFM. If it reaches 1/4" static pressure you would have no CFM. It would choke the fan out.
