The Canarm Wall Exhaust Fan can be controlled by a hard wired thermostat, Northern Item # 162570 would work nicely. See attached below.

The CFM is determined by the static pressure. At 0 static pressure with 1600 RPM is would be 360 CFM. At 1300 RPM is would be 300 CFM. The higher the static pressure the less CFM. If it reaches 1/4" static pressure you would have no CFM. It would choke the fan out.
