Question

what is the measurement between the mounting brackets?

I NEED ANOTHER AXLE FOR MY BOAT TRAILER. MY SPRING CENTERS ARE 56 1/2". THE TORSION BARS SEEM LIKE A GOOD ADDITION WITH AN ADDED AXLE, BUT WHAT IS THE LENGTH OF THE AXLE, AND THE WIDTH OF THE MOUNTING BOLT HOLES? A 55" SPRING CENTER WOULD BE TOO SHORT FOR MY APPLICATION. DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING THAT WOULD MEET MY REQUIREMENTS? WHAT ADDITIONAL INFO WOULD YOU NEED?

There is not a tube connecting these end units. They are made to be mounted to the trailer at whatever distance meets your needs. What you will get when you order is only what appears in the picture. To find out if this item will work on your trailer the best option is take the trailer to a qualified fabricator and have them draw up a plan for you.

These axle suspension units could be used with an integrated hub wheel, however the maximum tire width that they will accept is 6". The width of the tire on item #25207 is 8.5". This wheel/tire will not have enough clearance for these axles.
