Basically, you are attaching the legs to the preassembled seat and then the arms to the preassembled back. Instructions are included.

I assume you mean do you have to put together each slat in the back and the foot rest for example.. no you do not... those pieces come pre-assembled. You will be attaching the arms and the completed back to the seat and the 2 legs to the ottoman. Very easy assembly required.

The back and seat are put together and all you need to do is assemble the legs and arms.

No, There is some assembly but its pretty easy. It is easier to stain before you assemble though.

some pieces are pre-assembled like the (sides and the back) and just need to be screwed together
