Yes, you may combine the solar system with the wind turbine for additional energy. The wind turbine has an integrated charge controller, so there is no need for a larger charge controller then your currently have with the 60 watt solar system.

The turbine is producing either 12 or 24 volt DC power. The three phase AC is converted to DC and sent to the charge controller. The charge controller will automatically detect if you are using 12 or 24 volt batteries and convert it. On a 90 foot run between the turbine and the charge controller, the manufacturer recommends using 8 gauge wire.

Question

Can the Turbine provide 24 volts and charge a 12 volt battery bank

How do you set the system to 24 volts. And charge a 12 volt battery bank? If the turbine delivers 24 volts, the wire size can be #8 for over 100 feet. If it delivers 12 volts, you need a much larger wire size for the same footage. At a greatly larger price for wire.

The owners manual does supply a hybrid solar/wind diagram but it suggests it is best to install the solar on a separate battery bank from the wind generator whenever feasible.
It is possible that the charge controller for the solar panels may not operate in combination with the charge controller which comes with the wind generator properly so that the chance for over-charging the batteries may exist in a dual system/single battery bank configuration.
