Yes, the charge controller should be placed inline between the batteries and the wind generator to keep the batteries from overcharging.

You can run it from the batteries and then use the solar panel to keep the batteries charged. It will run only from the batteries. You will also need the charge controller for the solar panel to keep it from overcharging the batteries.

At 5 MPH, the wind generator turbine would supply approximately 100 watts of power with a 12 volt system. With a 24 volt system it will provide approximately a 150 watts. It will depend on the irregularity of the wind.

The outside diameter of the pole that this unit is made to mounted on is 48mm. At this time we do not offer a roof mount kit for this item.

Yes, you may connect multiple batteries, however, the more batteries you have, the longer it will take to charge each battery.

There are so many variables to determine how much the wind generator will produce, for example what state are you in? Where is the generator located? What height is it at?
The Honeywell wind turbine produces up to 2572 kW hours per year in optimum conditions.
