The manufacturer does recommend use of a longer chain. For example, a 16" bar chainsaw would require the use of an 18" bar chain.

Do you have diagram and/or dimensions? I need the radius of the drive wheel and distance from outer edge of drive wheel to work surface.

The dimensions of this tool are 9.5 inches long, 5 inches wide and 2.25 high. The sprocket size is 3/8.
