Question

The ft. lb. torque is it adjustable?

I need a lower torque than 10 ft. lbs. (between 2 - 8 in. lbs./ 12 - 48 ft. lbs.). I work on aircraft and sometimes the screws need a little help in being jarred loose.

Yes, this Northern Industrial air impact screwdriver has adjustable torque by turning the forward barrel.

Yes, the chuck has an adjustable ratchet similar to a cordless drill. There are no markings so you'll have to experiment to get the desired result. Also, similar to an air drill, the tool speed and power is variable in relation to trigger pressure (air supply).

This works with any 1/4" hex bit and holds them magnetically.
