Is this pump suitable to be used with a gasoline engine to pump water from a well exceeding 25' in depth? If so what are the HP requirements?

The pump has a maximum priming lift of 20 feet. Anything more than that it would not work. It can be used with a gasoline engine. It would require a minimum 2 HP with 3600 RPM.

The IPT 6000 GPH pump is rated for 180 degrees F.
