The Wayne pump has 1 1/4" ports at the top and bottom. The center port is 3/4".

This unit does not need a well point. However you will need the attached items, well casing with an inside diameter of 4inches minimum, a foot valve, two pipes for the drive side and the suction side, and a nipple to connect them.
