This unit will not lift or provide any travel on its own. The purpose of this power unit is to supply fluid power to a hydraulic device such as a cylinder. When used with a cylinder, the lift capacity and travel will be dependent on the cylinder that it is used with.

It is a pump, it has a 3 qt reservoir. It will not lift anything without being connected to a hydraulic system.

The max pressure is 2500 PSI, and will draw 233 amps. The start switch is located on top of the motor.

The power unit does not include a solenoid valve. These valves and plumbing are to be supplied by the customer.

Can I use a Remote Reservoir?

Must all the return fluid be contained in the 3qt reservoir, or is there a "return" port on the pump to connect a larger remote reservoir?

If not, is there a motor/pump unit available that will connect to a separate reservoir?

There is an adapter kit and additional reservoir tanks from 1 gallon to 3 gallon available from our parts department. These can be ordered by calling 1.800.221.5381, option #3.
