Can you reverse rotation of the motor to retract a cylinder?

If I hookup a cylinder to the supply & return ports of this pump, can I operate the cylinder by just reversing the motor rotation?

No, this power unit operates in one direction only, the valving that you chose to use with this unit will determine the direction of flow and ultimately allow you to extend and retract a cylinder when installed properly.

This power unit does not come with any valving. You may plumb this for single or double acting cylinders. We do not offer a 110 volt power unit with a solenoid for double acting cylinders. We do offer one for single acting cylinders. Please see below.
